Post-Natal Mom & Baby Yoga
Join other New Moms in a relaxing and restoring Postnatal Yoga Practice. We will breathe, stretch and tone our bodies and wombs after pregnancy and birth.
Babies are welcome and you are free to nurse, change diapers and tend to your little ones in a supportive environment. We will begin each class with a Talking Stick circle to share our experiences of birth and the postpartum time. This is a great way to connect and with other new Mom’s.
Power Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa is MOVEMENT WITH BREATH, Power is cultivating strength & endurance. This relationship creates a fun, lively and strong class building energy while moving deep into the body’s core center. Class includes variations of Surya Namaskara or Sun Salutation, standing postures to practice stability, twisting poses to detoxify and massage the internal organs, and a calming wind-down & savasana (rest & meditation). Leave the body/mind feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
*Special Ashtanga Vinyasa Class June 27:
Ashtanga Vinyasa is a potent form of Hatha Yoga that was formalized in the latter half of the twentieth century by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, a professor of Sanskrit and Yogic Literature, under the direction of his teacher, the legendary scholar and visionary Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. The signature of the method is the graceful integration of posture, breath and gaze into an elaborate ritual of movement. The practice to be present with sensation, allowing it to move through the body unbound, and to dissolve back into the emptiness from which it arose. Through this practice, we give ourselves space, and we allow our minds to breath. Our conceptual projections soften and fade, making room for insight.

The gift of incorporating Yoga and the 12 Steps of Recovery are astounding. Come with an open mind and heart!
Sal brings over 20 years of personal recovery experience to this Yoga Class.
‘ I simply could not ground myself until I combined the 12 steps of Recovery and my Yoga practice. Yoga brings me to my body and breath, helping to still my mind. It has been one of my greatest gifts of recovery!
Betsy- “I have over 28 years of sobriety. I love the combination of yoga and meetings because no matter what is going on in my life, meetings, the breath and asana make it all tolerable. No matter how many meetings I attend and how much cardio exercise I do, I cannot quiet my mind. Once on my mat the magic starts to happen and I am led inside where my mind starts to quiet and I begin to relax. The combination of yoga and the twelve steps have changed my life, one day at a time.”
