A fun, moderate, all levels class, balancing mindful openings & invigorating sequencing. Opportunities to go at your own pace by slowing down or inviting deeper challenge.

Yin Yoga with Imee

This Yin class is open to everyone who practices yoga in all disciplines. Prana Yin Yoga is a complimentary practice that allows self-discovery of the authentic self. Cultivating a meditative focus with breathwork followed by a nourishing Yin practice, this class will help release deep tensions while bringing the mind into an expanded form of quietude and healing.

We are all human beings with beautifully formed and unique physical structures and different levels of spiritual awareness . In this environment we will be supporting the uniqueness of each individual. A purely non-competitive, non judgemental environment designed to bring a special awareness to one’s practice. Come and join us in this practice to access your true inner self for a self healing, self empowering transformation and a spontaneous playful spirit.

Restorative Yoga with Janice
6-7:30pm

A restorative practice relies on the use of props and the prolonged holding of a few simple poses to achieve a deep level of relaxation. The unique style of yoga helps us slow down the pace of life and nurture our nervous system. The practice helps foster an expansive body awareness & level of mindfulness as we learn to rest within the postures growing more aware of where we hold tension, stress & pain and learn to let it go. Restorative is open to all, no yoga experience necessary!

Yoga Nidra
Divine Sleep or Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that systematically guides and relaxes you at every level of being including your physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual layers (called the 5 koshas).

Through the use of breath awareness, body scanning, healing music and nature imagery, Divine Sleep invites you to become aware of each layer of being without needing to change or fix anything. This is true meditation where there is nothing to do but to ‘notice’ — supporting you in feeling empowered and whole just as you are.
This contemporary practice is based on ancient yogic wisdom and meditation to make a powerful tool for modern day life.

Class will begin with a little description of the technique, followed by genlte Qi Gong warm -ups to help move energy and help us deeply relax (we need energy to consciously relax!) Then you are invited to lay down comfortably with support or not or even sit if preferable and take in the practice.
