A slower class for beginning students or those seeking a more detailed practice. Emphasis on easing tension, increasing flexibility, and beginning to wake up inner strength & balance with breath and movement.
The Basics class prepares you to venture into other ongoing classes on the schedule with more confidence and grace.
Cindy Wallace While on a visit to Kripalu in 2009, Cindy wished that she could continue to delve deep within her Yoga Practice close to home, and that’s what brought her to Raven’s Wing 5 years ago.
Since that time she has been a devoted student of yoga. In 2013, she received her 200 hour Teacher Training Certification from the Pranakryia School of Yoga Healing Arts, studying under Yoganand Michael Carroll.
Through breath, movement and awareness, Cindy hopes to guide her students into a harmonious union of tranquility and acceptance.
Sally Noel Sally Noel is the founder and director of Raven's Wing Yoga since it's birth in 2004. The intention of the studio has not changed, offering positive change to all that craves it. Sally began her serious yoga studies living at Kripalu Yoga Center in 1998 and 1999 under Yoganand Michael Carroll and Indukanta Udasin. She then went on to study Ashtanga Yoga, Ayuveda and Yoga Therapy in Boulder, CO 2000-2003 and has continued learning from all the many teachers that fill her path. The movement of Yoga in her life has always come from the connection it creates to the natural world, the human world and the spiritual world in way of unifying and allowing trust and wisdom to light the way. Yoga continues everyday to teach what it means to be human, and who we can be of some benefit.
