Millie VandenBroek

Millie started practicing yoga with Kamakshi Hart in Washington DC in 2000 as a way of dealing with the stress of law school. She has relied on an active yoga and meditation practice ever since, through working as a poverty lawyer, becoming a mother, and exploring her creativity as a dance artist. Millie obtained her teaching certification from Kripalu in 2003 and her prenatal teaching certificate in 2010, and has studied various movement modalities that have influenced her yoga practice over the years. Millie currently studies Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through the UMass Center for Mindfulness and enjoys integrating stillness into her personal practice.
