Introduction to Ayurveda

Introduction to Ayurveda
Saturday November 18, 4-6pm
with Lauren Dailey

This ancient wisdom evolved in India around 5000 years ago and is considered to be one of the world’s oldest, continually practiced forms of healthcare. Often called the “sister-science” of yoga, Ayurveda aims at creating deeper harmony between body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and intentionality, Ayurveda provides us with diet and lifestyle tools to create deep, sustainable connection with the self.

In this workshop we will:
– Begin by learning what Ayurveda is.
-Discuss foundational principles of the practice such as the 5 elements and the 3 doshas.
-Explore constitutions and what they look like in a balanced and imbalanced state.
-You will leave with tips and tools to begin incorporating this life-changing wisdom into your life.
