There are many reasons why we find our way to a yoga practice. In the yoga tradition, the term “Svadhyaya” means self-study. Through Svadhyaya we can engage in self-reflection and examination to develop a clearer understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.
In this series, we’ll dive a little deeper – through dialogue and a mindful posture practice – to discern what brings us time and again, to our mats.

We’ll explore some ancient yogic teachings and how they are applicable to our practice and to our daily lives.
Each class will conclude with a short meditation/mantra and reflections on our practice together. Some previous yoga experience is encouraged but not required. Modifications of the poses will be given and all are welcome.
