Yoga practice helps us locate our presence, our ground in which we feel. Practicing care in movement and stillness, getting inside our breath can become liberating. Not without obstacles and challenges, but with care and being worthy of love.Tuesday’s Practice>>> 9:30a Restorative Meditation11a Prenatal Yoga 5:30p Deep Gentle Yoga 7p Life RecoveryThank you Lama Rod Owens ... I have learned so much from the people who come to practice over the years. The incredible transformations, recoveries, moving through unfathomable challenges. The grace people hold blows my mind. I am humbled and grateful to get to know people, sometimes, in their most vulnerable times. YOU. ARE. BEAUTY. I LOVE YOU!Our relationship with time is skewed. What emerged from humanity’s need to track and understand natural cycles, and meet various human needs, such as agriculture, trade, science, and industrialization, has become a sequential list of expectations in our life—house by 25, married by 30, kids by 35, millionaire by 40, etc. Timelines are fun when striving for a milestone, but why write anything off if a particular year comes around and we haven’t met it?⁣⁣The ego wants to use time and never feels like there’s enough of it. It measures its value by what can be done with it and how much is accomplished. The body feels time and changes little by little with every passing year. The spirit experiences time. As with other three-dimensional aspects of the human experience, your spirit simply observes. Giving it no value, never labelling it good or bad, and certainly not demanding anything from it. And since we are of body, mind, and spirit, you will feel all three perspectives of time, but it’s up to you to overcome the limiting ego and experience the expansiveness of the spirit.⁣⁣If you perceive your life from the limitless perspective of the soul, nothing ever arrives too early or too late. Every decision and every accomplishment comes right on time. Your joy will wait for no date. Your healing will wait for no particular hour. The unfolding of your human experience comes with the momentum behind your emotions. Not the hands of a clock or dates on a calendar.⁣⁣Everything your strive to gain or become is simply a means to an end, and that end is always an emotional one. We want to feel safe, loved, seen, successful, proud, worthy, and fulfilled. We want to know peace and ease. Give yourself permission to feel it now. Don’t tether your life to time. You and your life are far more expansive and multidimensional than any quantified measurement of physics.⁣ ... See MoreSee Less

Joy for another Monday!Multiple teachers have prompted in meditation practice to give a little smile to the lips, turn the corners of your mouth ever so slightly up ... mind you I'm not instructing you to "be happy!" but to soften the face and perhaps give life to a time where joy was more easeful. Practice. Is a series of moments strung together for us to remember, gradually, over time, that we are divine beings living life through many mountains and valleys. How that journey shows up in your heart is up to you. You are a spark.
